Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Chat Intel AI implements a standard chatbot for sales and customer support. This Privacy Statement describes our, and our primary suppliers', policies and practices regarding the collection and use of personal data and sets forth privacy rights.

2. Contact us about data protection

Chat Intel AI is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark and our technical supplier on the chat technology is headquartered in Ontario, Canada. If customers have questions or concerns about our privacy policies, practices, or if customers wish to exercise any privacy rights, we can be contacted at info@chatintel.dk.

3. How we collect and process your personal data

Chat Intel AI collects personal information about its customers and website visitors. With a few exceptions, this information is generally limited to:

  • Name 
  • job title 
  • Name of the employer 
  • work address 
  • e-mail 
  • Work phone number 

 

We do not sell personal information to anyone and only share it with third parties as part of the delivery of our services.

4. Sharing information with third parties

The personal information that Chat Intel AI collects from the customer may be stored in databases hosted by Chat Intel's subcontractors in the United States. These third parties do not use or have access to personal data for any purpose other than cloud storage and retrieval.

We do not disclose Personal Data to non-Chat Intel AI individuals or companies for their independent use unless: (1) the customer requests or authorizes it; (2) the information is provided to comply with the law (for example, compelled by law enforcement to comply with a search warrant, subpoena, or court order), enforce an agreement we have with the customer, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or the rights, property, or safety of our employees or others; (3) the information is provided to our agents or contractors who perform functions on our behalf; (4) to deal with emergencies; or (5) to handle disputes, claims, or to persons who demonstrate legal authority to act on customers' behalf. We may also collect aggregated data about our services and disclose the results of such aggregated (but not personally identifiable) information to our partners, service providers, advertisers and/or other third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Data storage and retention

Personal data is stored by Chat Intel AI's subcontracted cloud solutions located in the United States. Chat Intel AI, and subcontractors, retain usage data for the duration of the customer's business relationship and for a period thereafter to analyze the data for historical and archival purposes.

Information we collect about the customer will be processed in the United States. By using Chat Intel AI, and subcontractors' services, the customer acknowledges that personal information will be processed in the United States. Pursuant to Article 46 of the GDPR, Chat Intel AI, and subcontractors, provide appropriate safeguards by entering into binding standard data protection clauses enforceable by data subjects in the EEA and the UK. 

Depending on the circumstances, Chat Intel AI also collects and transfers Personal Data to the United States with consent; to perform a contract with Customer; or to fulfill a compelling legitimate interest of Chat Intel AI in a manner that does not outweigh rights and freedoms. Chat Intel AI endeavors to use appropriate safeguards to protect the privacy and security of Personal Data and to use it only in accordance with Customer's relationship with Chat Intel AI and the practices described in this Privacy Statement. Chat Intel AI also enters into data processing agreements and model clauses with its suppliers when possible and appropriate.

6. Rights of the data subject

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other countries' data protection laws give data subjects certain rights. The rights of data subjects under the GDPR include the following:

  • Right to be informed
  • Right of access
  • Right to rectification
  • Right to deletion
  • Right to restrict processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object
  • Rights related to automated decision-making, including profiling

 

This Privacy Statement is intended to provide the customer with information about what personal data Chat Intel AI, and subcontractors, collect and how it is used. 

Customers may request information about: the purpose of the processing; the categories of personal data concerned; who else outside Chat Intel AI may have received the data from Chat Intel AI and subcontractors; what the source of the data was; and how long it will be retained. You have the right to correct (rectify) the record of your personal data maintained by Chat Intel AI if it is inaccurate. Customers may request that Chat Intel AI delete this data or cease processing it, subject to certain exceptions.

7. Use of chatintel.dk

chatintel.dk automatically collects certain information and stores it in log files. The information may include Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, the region or general location where your computer or device accesses the Internet, browser type, operating system, and other website usage information, including a history of the pages you view. We use this information to help us design our website to better suit the needs of our users.

8. cookies and tracking technologies

Chat Intel AI describes the cookies and tracking technologies used on the website and provides information on how users can accept or reject them. Cookie policy is on the way, coming mid-May 2024.
